User Requested removal

MS has handled the PR part very poorly since the announcement of PS4. This has cost them a lot. We all know that companies care about profits more than anything else, but at least they should try to express them more decently.

If microsoft quits the gaming industry I certainly won't miss them. At all.

I think its just MS and NDA's. No one ever kept quiet about one console being more powerful than another in any other generation before. They know the game of marketing perception through deception. They are geniuses at it and have Sony beaten at it in spades. I don't even want to know how much money MS dropped the second they found out the PS4 was superior. There were rumors that MS was furious at AMD for not letting it slip that Sony got the superior tech. They basically live to be a thorn in Sonys side and thats all they will ever be. This might be a hard pill for their fans to swallow but games aside its MS.

 That said....with all the bullshit aside, who gives a shit? Just play the games. Enjoy your f'n consoles.

Most of the top games would've been made regardless of their existence so I could concur with this, but they have done some good in the industry when it comes to OS. They also took Halo from Apple and brought it to consoles. Halo put console FPS on the map. I would love to say it was Goldeneye but the craze didn't start until Halo.

Man, console launches are the best.  So much crap being flung in every direction, it's like gif heaven. 

I believe people should step back and think for a moment.  This is not MS telling devs they cannot say which console is more powerfull.  Instead devs have signed NDAs from both Sony and MS to not discuseed the inner workings of the consoles.  Think about it for a moment, 3rd party developers has access to information from both MS and Sony.  Neither company want those developers contacting their competitor about certain information nor do they want developers mouthing off in public about anything negative concerning their product.  Nothing to really see here.  The games will always tell the story so you really do not need a developer to tell you the obvious.

This is just how the industry works sadly, its upto people themselves make the decision on which product is superior.

I think pretty much everyone sees at this point that PS4 just can do more than the XO anyways, so it's not a big secret anyways.

Well, try ask DICE if Battlefield 4 perfmors better with a AMD GPU or a nVidea GPU.

I think Microsoft shouldn´t have done the 180 with daily online check. People still hate them for any given reason. If the Xbox One cures cancer, gaffers and minions would snort "But, it´s still 100 dolars more and can´t even play 1080p games".
