but didn't rumours say the next console game will be a ps4 exclusive? since they want to present their engine in the best light it would make sense to work on an exclusive game because excluisves profit a lot from the fact that they are specifically made for one platform. sure, sales would be lower but sony would probably pay them some money for it and the game would show much better how good an unreal engine 4 game can look on consoles so that they could live with a lower profit or even a loss.

the only thing hinting at exclusivity is that there is specualtion that it might be revealed on the 14th PS4AllAccess event. since the CEO (mark rein) of Epic games posted a pic counting down to the PS4 all access event only further increases speculation that they might be there. and if they were there its pretty logical to assume that it is a PS4 exclusive, i mean, why at this event show the game if its multiplat? why not gamescom? why not VGA's that are just a month away? why at the PS4 all access event? then there is the fact that mark rein showed the countdown on the exact same screen that adam boyes (works for sony) teased a countdown on. it was the same countdown and the same pc in the same room, hinting that its in the PS head quarters. we have no leaks or insiders claiming its a PS4 exclusive, just specualtion. for all we know, this could be published by microsoft

We have, however, had some insiders claiming that Sony has a huge third party exclusive to announce and that when it is revealed people will be shocked.

Looks vaguely interesting, it will probably look good as it is effectively a tech demo for UE4

They really need to get their act together here, I think they are going to massively lose market share this gen with their engine, never mind the lack of the 5m sales of each Gears

I love EPIC so whatever happens I am sure to get the game. Multiplat, ill get it. PS4 exclusive, ill get it. Same goes to XBO.
