How long did they ban you for that?

I think this feels racist, you said this because you not understand the french, i can somewhat agree, but this mean you understand every other language on earth and can play with all but french, not sound wrong to you ?

Bummer about being banned.  I would assume it's from the profanity, but looking at the terms of service:

Looks like you have violated both National Origin and Language.  Easy to fix though.

It's not that I can understand every other language, in Europe pretty much every country has the option of English as a second language and a lot of people use this on live even if they're german speaking themselves they'll see the other persons flag and tend to try and message in English, but French are rather proud of their language it's a big thing for them to use it and this floods into the live community too. I know the french for "Je nes pas comprendre francais" which means I don't understand French which was normally met with a massive wall of French text or voices messages in French I just figured it far easier to save both sides the hassle since I love chatting back and forth after games of SF or rippin into how one of us failed heh.

If it was as slight as this I'll just do as I do now when playing online and boot um from rooms I make and just not reply, saves me the hassle of being called a Racist :D I live on a country where everyone thinks we eat potatoe flavoured candy and our national sport is alcoholism and wife beating. Being Racist is down our list of things to do after collection of our lucky charms from the end of our Rainbows.

It was 100% because you had swearing on your profile. I've got a 24hour ban for having "bitch" in my bio. Usually you can go unnoticed, I pissed some dude off in TF2 that was an Xbox live moderator and he noticed my bio. Your ban was likely a similar situation.

aye, think I upset someone at the forums part of the xbox.com site and since it's login is my xbl account can just click me see the profile, see I had the phrase "fuck yeah" on my bio and report me. Note to self: suggesting to people not to tell others on their console to "fuck off if they dont like the eula" really upsets people to the point they want other members banned from their Console of choice. Odd how that community really embraces people heh.

That would be my guess, at least it's only a 24 hour ban though. If you keep getting banned the times will get longer so try to not use any words they can ban you for.
