Highly unlikely because a big part of Epic's business is licensing out their game enigne to various developers.  There's no way Sony has the cash to purchase the engine outright.

Not sure, I beleive gears is till owned by epic though if I'm not mistaken. What I'm getting at is that the gears ip is pretty much from the ms side like r and clanks is for sony. If they shifted from pure exclusive to the other then the sales would prob drop. New ip's are fine though since they don't have exisitng fanbases yet and can establish them right then and there. An exclusive one would lose the majority of there current fanbase most likely and would have to gain new ones on a new platform.


MS doesnt own Gears tho whereas Sony owns Ratchet and Clank

Wait, I might have lost you? What are you argueing with me about? R and c is owned by sony so it can't be an ms exclusive. Isominiac new game sunset overdrive is an ms exclusive. Gears isn't owned by ms so it can be exclusive to the ps4 or it could be a new ip. I was just saying that it wouldn't make much sense for a primary ms franchise to go exclusive to the ps4.

I hear ya! I hate feeling like a noob, especially in regards to UT.

 

Yeah, it's PS3, but I kick serious ass in UT3 on PS3.

 

Yeah, I still hop on it from time to time. I have tons of mods for it too. (Don't know why they didn't add the mod compatibility for games like Oblivion and Skyrim... they better add that shit on PS4 or i'll be pissed! You should see my Skyrim on my laptop!)
