well, they couldnt make any of their old IPs since they are all owned by SCE. What Epic developed IPs does MS own?

Not sure, I beleive gears is till owned by epic though if I'm not mistaken. What I'm getting at is that the gears ip is pretty much from the ms side like r and clanks is for sony. If they shifted from pure exclusive to the other then the sales would prob drop. New ip's are fine though since they don't have exisitng fanbases yet and can establish them right then and there. An exclusive one would lose the majority of there current fanbase most likely and would have to gain new ones on a new platform.


MS doesnt own Gears tho whereas Sony owns Ratchet and Clank

Wait, I might have lost you? What are you argueing with me about? R and c is owned by sony so it can't be an ms exclusive. Isominiac new game sunset overdrive is an ms exclusive. Gears isn't owned by ms so it can be exclusive to the ps4 or it could be a new ip. I was just saying that it wouldn't make much sense for a primary ms franchise to go exclusive to the ps4.
