360 software does do really well in america, but you shouldn't expect handhelds to sell more software than consoles.

Why not? The DS is a fuckin monster. I would never have thought the 360 could ever dream doing anything better than the DS.

Whats global attach rate vs US vs Japan vs Others? I'd like to know that - it should show whether the implied slow up of 360 sales in Others is true plus how big an impact its having from global perspective.

It's too bad the 360 hasn't had the same success in Europe and Japan as it has in America. It could have taken over from the PS2 and make HD gaming less risky.

Just shows - you can own the US, and still ( by some) to be considered a failure worldwide.

Without too much surprise, the numbers in Japan make up for the difference:

360 - 2.4m
DS - 92.4m
