Thanks Cone and RealGamingExpert.

Yup the next months are gonna be really sweet in terms of games coming out. Are you guys getting the new 3DS model as well? To me is almost mandatory since I'm gonna buy Xenoblade too.

I would upgrade regardless. It just looks so much better for MH4U which is a game Ive been waiting for since it was revealed MonHun was coming to 3DS back with 3U. XBC is a big plus though as are any future exclusives it gets.

You're finally back! Nice to hear you got a new job. I'll get only 3D World and Smash U for the rest of the year :0 (maybe Kid Icarus: U or ALBW... Pooossibly AS)

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

welcome back Lestatdark

Apparently Hyrule Warriors was going to to be more like Zelda, but Miyamoto flipped the tea table :p

''At first, when Hayashi-san approached me, he wanted to make this title closer to a Zelda game than a Dynasty Warriors game — that extended to having boss battles in the dungeons and [having] certain characters in the game. However, Mr. Miyamoto came along and up-ended the tea table, saying, “No, that should not be the case. What we’re doing here is grafting Zelda onto the Dynasty Warriors experience.” It was a reversal of the original proposal from Hayashi-san, which was adding elements of Dynasty Warriors onto the Zelda franchise. It ended up being the other way around based on Miyamoto’s direction.'' - Eiji Aonuma

''This relates a bit to when Mr. Miyamoto stepped in to overturn the tea table. It was really trying to strike that balance of making a game that Zelda fans will enjoy that is different from a typical Zelda game, that has enough elements that people will enjoy but also not losing Zelda fans. We ourselves are Zelda fans as well, so we had to ask ourselves the question of what is it that makes a Zelda game, and how many of those elements do we need to include. Up until the very end, we kept adding different elements to the game until we struck a balance that we were happy with.'' - Yosuke Hayashi

Wow, I didn't read that about MH4U! That solidifies it even more .

@Slarvax, TheKingofRedLions & Spurge - Thanks guys

I still have some small amount of catch up to do this year with 3DS and Wii U games. Still need to get both MK8 and Etrian Odyssey Untold. It's a shame that I didn't have any money back when the MK8 promo with two other games was still up, so I'll still need to hunt for a Wonderful 101 copy.

To be honest (and I could be alone in this, sure) I'd rather have a Zelda game with Dynasty Warriors bits rather than a Dynasty Warriors game with Zelda bits.

You're definitely not the only one.

A regular Zelda game with a more combat against several enemies at the same time wouldn't be a problem at all, at least for me.

Hiya guys, back after a very long hiatus from the site.

Really stocked about the last half of 2014 for the 3DS and Wii U lineups. Sadly haven't been able to buy any new games for them in the past months due to lack of funds since I've been unemployed for the past 6 months. Luckily with my new job I can get back on track now.

Can't wait to play Bayonetta 2, Smash Bros and, of course, Alpha Ruby!

My hero.

So your saying you would prefer a Zelda game with combat instead of Hyrule Warriors?? =P

Ohohoho! But yeah, sorta.

I'm thinking of the very end of Skyward Sword, where all of the bokoblin's attack you in their hundreds.
