VGC has MK8 at 570k units (Europe) at the end of July.
I guess the 1st half of the year ends at June 30th, and according to VGC, MK8 is at 473k during that time. So it's overtracked.
But also, according to Nintendo, MK is at 2.82 million (shipped + digital) as of June 30th... I don't think there might be like 500k-800k on shelf. So we are looking at very high digital sales.

Was kinda hoping Nintendo would be showing some new footage for certain games during Gamescom, but I haven't seen anything yet :/

I think it opens to the public the 13th through the 17th. Up until now its just been for the press.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo is working on a phone app for the eShop. As usual they're on Nintendo time, so it'll probably take a while. We're still waiting for that Mario Kart 8 app they talked about a few months ago too xD;
