Sailing is vast, long and empty but you can enjoy the music! I'm pretty sure cel shading is easier on the hardware.. Tingle, nobody likes him. EVER. In any game.

But, yeah, these are some of the shortfalls of The Wind Waker.

The music was nice, I'll give it that, but I was just so bored waiting to get to the next island in the endless expanse of blue. As for the graphics, plenty of Gamecube games looked great without the need for cel shading; Metroid Prime 1 & 2, for example.

Yep, I agree with you. And there's also that we don't know what Retro has been doing since they released Tropical Freeze more than a year ago (and it was finished long before it launched), so...

 

@Least favorite Zelda: Since I have only played a little few of them, I can't really comment .

Still not sold in MP10. Anyone here planning on picking it up? Would like to hear impressions.

Probably not picking up MP10, mainly because i'm just not a huge fan of MP, i've only owned the DS version :P Plus everyone has to stay in that little buggy thing if you don't want to buy an amiibo for those barebones boards. But Bowser Party looks good.

Probably not picking up MP10, mainly because i'm just not a huge fan of MP, i've only owned the DS version :P Plus everyone has to stay in that little buggy thing if you don't want to buy an amiibo for those barebones boards. But Bowser Party looks good.

You only need one amiibo to have full access to anything amiibo mode has to offer though. You can unlock different boards of characters while you play. And if you play as Bowser in amiibo party the minigames are from the Bowser mode (so everyone against Bowser). You play as a 2D cardboard cutout if you don't own the amiibo of the character you're playing as.

MP10 also only costs €40 (just checked the store where I usually buy my games), so even if I buy an amiibo it will be cheaper than a normal game. Nintendo handles amiibo correctly. I'm probably going to buy a Yoshi amiibo for the upcoming Yoshi's Woolly World anyway.

Now they just need an amiibo platformer imo to rake in the money.

Ahh, i see, i guess that makes the game better for your money, and just on a side note i love the fact that practically every game on Wii U made by Nintendo supports Amiibo, makes them well worth your money. But i think MP10 is overshadowed by bigger releases this year for me.

i will never understand this...didnt you feel the sense of adventure ..to go where no one has gone before ? :p

and it clearly wouldnt be possible to create a game like WW without cel shading graphics.
