Would you like to see Captain Toad appear as a playable character inMario Kart 8? Well, Nintendo’s very own Koichi Hayashida wants him to star in the iconic racing series as well as other Nintendo titles. Interestingly, Hayashida has contacted the director of Mario Kart to see if he’d consider including Captain Toad in the game. Hayashida says he has become quite attached to the charming character and would like to see him feature in a “variety of games.”

"At this stage we don’t know. I personally want to see him featured in a variety of games. I’ve even ‘secretly’ emailed the director of Mario Kart to see if he’d consider including Captain Toad, but I haven’t heard back from him yet!"

Just finished Kirby & The Rainbow Curse at 99% completion (still have to do Challenge Mode)! It was a fun little game. Very charming, cute and (at times) challenging. I swear, the secret diary in the main menu is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. And the figurine showcase is just like the Smash Bros. one and has some witty captions.

I'll write a review sometime in the next week. It's definitely not a must-own game (unless you're a huge Kirby fan), but it's worth the purchase imo. Nice distraction while we wait for Splatoon.

Nintendo news of 22/02/2015: Not much today.

  • Captain Toad dev hopes Cpt. Toad appears in many games.
  • Itagaki recommends to play Devil's Third with a Pro Controller. Now, I'm no one to judge, but if you do not use the Pro Controller for every possible game you cannot be my friend #ProControllerMasterRace
  • Here's some Splatoon info.
  • Since this was a slow day... Here's my favorite theme from SSBU (>^_^)>
