I don't get people complaining about emptiness in the game. first of all it is not done and second emptiness is realistic! you can't expect to find people, enemies or caves/dungeons every step you take!

You seem to be forgetting that this is a Zelda game.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I think the overworld, as it is, is fine. I enjoy traveling in a good looking, and non slow way. As long as it isn't like Skyward Sword or OoT (Young Link timeline), I will enjoy.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

The emptiness doesn't exist. If you remember from the e3 trailer, Aonuma mentioned that a huge boss-like enemy can show up wherever you are. The world isn't as empty as you think. Noticed how they skipped a lot of stuff probably because they ran into night time(which meant double the enemies) and/or ran into a huge monster that would have taken up time.

Looks like they really are taking inspiration from the first Zelda.

I'm not complaining just pointing out that emptiness is a realistic thing and not all places need to be filled with stuff to do

Finally got to see the show - which i really liked!

Mario Maker is looking really good now. SMB 3 looks were the best to me, as i still love the whole feeling of the game even to this day.

Zelda was amazing!
When Mario 3D World was first shown i wasn't exstatic but i knew there was something special to it... and i was right.
Same thing goes for Zelda. I'm really liking what i'm seeing and i feel the best is yet to come!

Honestly, now i don't think we'll see a ND this year like last year, unless Nintendo has a new collaboration to announce.

Amazing detail what they did with the grass and over all surroundings. They just need to really work on the rocks.

Even I will admit that is the sweetest looking grass I've ever seen in a video game, the sky (sunset?), horses and dynamic shadows also look really good. My major gripe is with the rock textures and the emptiness of the world. Can't say much about the trees yet, footage wasn't sharp enough.

The game is still a year away. The way it looks now is awesome and will only get better (like rock textures, more enemies on screen, etc.) with time.

I'm getting a Zelda 1 vibe from it and that's awesome.

Also, the world is huuuuuge!

I've got a feeling that this is an earlier build, hence the rock textures and the empty world! Maybe it's not, who knows..

My expectation of grass in video games has sky rocketed. And horses!
