That is mostly because of Xbox one.

- Gears was released this year.
- Ryse went to Xbox one
- Panzer Dragoon went to Xbox one
- Lococyle went to Xbox one
- and more...
-Fable anniversary got delayed to early 2014.

and a bunch of XBLA titles like Battleblock theather/millionseller State of Decay..were worth it this year though..

I feel like Xbox one has now a overdose of games on launch and I don't really see it as a problem. I would not have been mad if sony announced that GT6/The last of us would not release on PS3 but would be PS4 exclusives... Sure this year would be kind of sucky for PS3 but the PS4 launch would be mindblowing with this two titles.

Edit: had to edit it twice because I was not sure it is GT5 or GT6 releasing this year..Damned those car games all look the same for me =p.

I kept trying to raise this point of how MS's lineup was frightingly bare the past couple of E3s, but all people were about back then was "OMG KINECT!!!1" and nobody seemed to care. Now the results of this near vaccant lineup have come to fruition..

But in all fairness, they at least kept the games going longer than Nintendo, and the 360 is going on 8 years old (damn I can't believe how fast it goes..) with the Xbone on the horizon.

Nowhere near aas great as people made out. I was expecting great things from my PS3. I didnt even finish TLOU ( 81% through ).

I wanted to see what the fuss was about. I got caught n the hype and got a PS3 16 months ago. Suffice to say, its not what many claim IMO. I wouldnt trade 360 for PS3 if  could only have one console. Even if PS3 has more exclusives. I dont think they are as good.

What was your PSn ID??? Sony could have given you a million and you would still spin it ina  bad way...

 

I had a 360, Sony has way moe varied, top notch exclsuives, it's not even close.


I dont agreee. selnor1983 was/is my personal PSN ID. Well that and my other one Selnor which I never took online. 

Of course you don't agree, your stance here as heavily xbox biased is earned...There is no comparison, thew last 3 years has been a graveyard on Xox. Meanwhile sony games continue raking up awards. Sony has a lot more varity, MS cannot compete with Sony's first party. X1 will be front loaded like 360 as third party deals come to an end.

I invested alot of time in Unchrarted. Finished 1 and 2. It says alot that I couldnt be bothered to finish 3. I also traded TLOU in for GTA5. Best decision of the year. GTA5 destroys TLOU in story and gameplay. 

Im so heavily biased I paid 300 quid for a PS3 with GOW3 and Uncharted 1 - 3. Sure. God of War 3 is th best PS3 game by a mile.

You think Microsoft cant compete this gen? 

360 started with 7 First Parrty Studios. Xbbox One starts with 28. 

Its game on. An IMO Microsoft start wiith a much better variety  than Sony. 

Pre=order tell a diff story...Lety me add you on PSN......

 

Number of studios is irrelevant, the quality and size of them are...MS may have studios but most are not doing anything of note.. Metacritic shows who has the much higherr rated first party. MAny of sony's studios are 2 and 3 yeams large.....

You may like GTA 5 better then TLOU, but it isn;t a better game, GTA 5, tries to do troo much and is a master of none. LOL @ gta 5 stort better then TLOU........Not one award will go to GAT 5 this year for story, and TLOU is an exclusive, gta 5 can be played on both. What has 360 had the last 3 years?

 

You like over the top action games , thats your preferrence, doesn't make those games better....They are not.

It doesnt matter what you say, or what awards are given. I prefer Microsofts first party games. You saying PS3 games ARE better doesnt make those games better. Thats your preference.

There are many who don't agree with you including critics, that's how this works lol. There is a reason a 600 dollar PS3 was able to outsell the 360...games, sony always delivers, year after year. MS again relying on throwing money around at third party's at the beginning of a gen. This time though, Sony has the price and no head start for MS.

Dude..just imagine  GT 7. Step back and take a breath. Don't forget that Uncharted hasn't shown itself yet either. God of War still has some room in the storyline. Im calling VGA's for Uncharteds reveal (since it always gets revealed there).

Sony sold over 100,000 less consoles than its previous generation. Has made huge losses as a company and just recently downgraded their expected profits for 2014. While Microsoft has had a record profit, now looking like making the best year in Microsofts history. Posting in 1 quater profit more money the what Sony is worth in its entirity.

So my point is

1. Opinions cannot be wrong. They are opinions.

2. Sony has had a terrible 8 years from a business point of view. And hasnt got better right now.

3. Microsoft has had an amaing 8 year business point of view. And they are breaking their own records right now.

 

Nothing you do or say will make mine and many others opinions invalid. Same as I cant make yours invalid.

What does any of this have to do with the thread???? Bringing up strawman arguments that are irrelevant now? Despite all that money, MS can't beat Sony who is struggling, Says it all. Imagine when sony is firing on all cylinders.

None of sony's issues are Playstation related........Nor is any of MS financial due to Xbox.....

You used Sonys apparant major success with PS3 after PS2 to prove to me and VGC I guess that anyones likes and dislikes ( opinions ) that dont follow yours are wrong.

While it is relative a few means 3 in most circles so Titanfall is out. Also means Fable Anniversary is out. 

Halo Spartan Assault was a touch screen game that got a 6.7 on IGN who are more than generous with their scores PC gamer gave it a 58/100. Not exactly a juggernaut port. 

Warface has no release date yet other than early 2014 and it is f2p with bad reviews albiet limited reviews. 

 

So for me I like Gran Turismo 6, Ratchet and Clank into the nexus, Aquapazza, and the guided fate paradox off the top of my head. Titanfall should be fun and Fable also should be good. But by then the PS3 will have Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, Tales of Xillia 2, Final Fantasy X-X2 HD, and a couple more awesome JRPG's. 

 

I am pretty sure I still prefer the PS3 release list.
