Call of Duty takes 2 years to make.  Treyarch makes one and then Infinity Ward.  This is why Battlefield for example can not keep up the pace with CoD and EA has opted out into having Battlefield one year and Medal of Honor the next year.  

TitanFall will likely be a 2-3 year development if continued.  Especially considering they have a VERY small team.

Looks like MS had to go back to get it fully exclusive.

 

Welp i guess it wont be coming to the Quad. They might aswell just buy Respawn.

Or it was fully exclusive in the first place, just another thing CBOAT has got wrong.

I may be wrong about this but didn't major Nelson seem like he was under the impression that it was a timed exclusive and now today he seems to fully be under the impression that it is fully exclusive?

 

Cboat was most likely right at one point before they changed the deal

Wow. EA and the dev both admit it isn't coming. People here are still insisting it will. Having a good laugh at some of the responses here honestly.

when a game is exclusive gamers will give it more attention 

look wath happened with FFXV MGS5 KH3

there is 0 hype surrounding those games

if they were exclusives everything would be different

So MS managed to pick it up as exclusive, very good catch. Many people are really excited about this game, so I expect it to be a very decent system mover.

Not that I ever said anything like that, but you do realize it had an hour and a half of cutscenes in it.  That's the equivalent of a full length movie.

The game itself could have come to the Xbox 360.  The problem was the hour and a half of uncompressed video that would never have fit on a DVD with the game itself.

and still that was not my point, if you cut out the story its not the same freaking game, so no it could not have come to the xbox360!

That's the point! if it did it would not have been Metal Gear Solid : 4!

WHEN it came out that Metal Gear Solid :4 would not be seeing a release on the xbox360, than it was just downplayed as it was

"just an extended Movie" the point is so what if the compressed video footage is over an hour and 30 mins long, thats part of the story of the game, if thats not your cup of tea, than so be it, but many of the people was kept saying it was going to the xbox360 as a slight that microsoft was stealing all the playstation exclusives, now...there is the very same type of thing going on in here that so now that its exclusive to microsoft's platforms that people will now bash it..and its mainly as a dig at certain fanbase on here.

I mean this was the very same thing that happened with Metal Gear Solid : 4 and if the xbox360 was going to steal this one exclusive from the ps3.

At the moment it is VERY good to be an XBox fan: Halo Spartan assault to be released for XBox, Titanfall a lifetime exclusive and all the other exclusives getting massive attention for their high quality. Also, PS fans should spend less time guessing over this thread and more time saluting their exclusive fps in Killzone. That is one awesome-looking game! :)

That is true, but all can change depending on the sales numbers. Regardless Titanfall is the only reason I'm getting an Xbox one in March

It may be the only reason but im sure you will find other games you like.  TitanFall was also one of the reasons i decided to pickup XBO at launch but Ryse and Killer Instinct was a big factor in that decision as well.  Or else i would have just waited for Quantum break, TitanFall, and Halo 5 

@Op i do love how some people here have that mindset that MSFT is evil for this but if PS4 gets a big exclusive from third party they go and type MEGATON or something like that.  Just relax people.
