Not worth buying the PS4 until more detail is released. Unless something "pops up", I sure know I'm not going to spend $399 or $499 on an unnecessary product in life.

not what I was expecting but the water and textures are better... still a minimal improvement.

Seeing this made me not want a next gen console, thank you, you saved me 2 thousand dollars (that is what it costs in Brazil). I will wait until these bozos learn to squeeze some next gen juices from the PS4 and Xbox One

GPGPU has been done by the X360 for quite sometime now so that should be nothing new to 3rd party Sony developers!!! I didn't say Wii U had more potential...I said the X1 has more potential than the PS4 due to it's eDRAM architecure which is like the Wii U!!! The Wii U doesn't need to get into a peeing contest with Sony's hardware as Nintendo's strength has always been about gameplay innovation and it's first party software. Don't believe me just look at the 3DS vs PSV and that should discussion about that!!! Going back the eDRAM set-up is going to be huge for X1 in the future and that's why I am so excited about that system!!! |
Well i cannot agree... Nintendo's innovation has led to just releasing the same games and not anything new. Their first party output has been dreadful for the last few years (excluding the 3ds).
eDram will not have some unlocked power in the future, this is just wishful thinking. I dont think i've actually heard anyone except you mention that there is this hidden power waiting to be unlocked. It's starting to sound like the Cell or secret sauce :) - please show me evidence of this suggestion of yours.
I think the current gen systems are pretty much over and done with regarding to what they can do with them performance-wise. Gimping the games for current gen is probably not something they can do anymore, in fact the current gen versions of modern games are probably pretty close to choking those consoles. It's the lack of modern feature sets that's probably "gimping" them more than anything.
