I just hope that MS or Sony or 3rd parties don't start gimping current-gen systems so that they could push everyone to next-gen systems prematurely. I am seriously thinking of holding off my $500 pre-order as I do need the extra cash for Christmas shopping for other people other than myself!!! On another note, I wonder how much I could flip my pre-order if I did pick one up on day one...just wondering? |
I think the current gen systems are pretty much over and done with regarding to what they can do with them performance-wise. Gimping the games for current gen is probably not something they can do anymore, in fact the current gen versions of modern games are probably pretty close to choking those consoles. It's the lack of modern feature sets that's probably "gimping" them more than anything.
