Forums - Gaming - Xbox One: 1080p 60 FPS Performance Not Capable Of Matching PS4 Hardware

Tagged games:

Just give it up with these silly resolution threads already. Games look great on PS4, they look great on X1. Your need to constantly find bashing material is so unnecessary. In what way does your preferred console get better buy bashing the one that you won't even buy?? Or are you so jealous of X1 that you put all your focus on that console? Well, then maybe you should buy it instead of complaining about it.

Man this is just sad. Now one companies 1080p is superior to another companies 1080p. I almost want to ask if this is some kind of joke but I already know people will actually not only believe that but use it to justify their purchase.

Christ. I have been seeing this everywhere for the last couple of day. If the Xbox One version is identical in every way, besides resolution, then it should be okay.

People really need to learn how to calm the fuck down.

Actually I notice a difference in image quality from my PS3 to my 360 when watching movies. The PS3 displays a crispier image than the 360 even when both have the same resolution. I'm talking about movies of course, as well as netflix. I don't know what it is but the PS3 just displays crispier, brighter, sharper image.

Anybody else with a PS3 and 360 notice this? Because they are both hooked up to the same TV, but maybe the 360's HDMI cable isn't as good.

Yes. It's why I used my PS3 to watch movies netflix etc. over my 360.

sounds like Xbox will struggle

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Haven't seen anything top Ryse yet on the PS4 side(Personal opinion.) If that's what the X1 is capable of at launch, good enough for me.

so what happens in a few weeks when the multiplats confirm everything? do we bash the developers for "not having time to learn how to code for it" when the machines are extremely similar and run the same architecture?
or do we roll back to the "the resolution difference is negligible"argument, or just straight up explode?

the way threads are going here lately i'm guessing all three.

It is worth pointing out that no amount of spin or excuses are going to change the reality of the situation over the next several years, just grin and bear it, in a few months everything will have settled down and we will be back to playing the sales wars game.

Did you try with the same cable? I know the Wii has lower quality Netflix videos, but I never heard that about the 360.

OT: MS really wasn't ready to launch their product, but I'm guessing some driver updates later down the line and more experience with ESRAM will help devs out a lot.

I am the Playstation Avenger.
