This place is a ps4 fan sanctuary. There's nothing magic about something that's 1080p and 60 fps a ps3 can do it with really crappy textures and effects. However the same game will have more spell effects, or shadows etc at the same framerate and resolution on ps4 since its capable of more.

These threads are repetitive and state the same thing in slightly different ways. Im not an Xbox one fan at all either.

My exact thoughts... I'm a Sony fan, and even I think these threads are becoming very pathetic... don't think people have heard the term "Beating a dead horse" before...


Yeah, nobody is getting turned at his point in the game.

 

And these blogs popping up are from speculators with no real "in the know" factor of the games.

Could be your settings on your PS3 and 360.  It also might be your data transfer rate.  If you're running one wired and the other wireless, Netflix might not be running in 1080p.

Otherwise there shouldn't be any difference when running an app like Netflix between the PS360.

Its not just netflix though, its digital download and bluray (obviously bluray being the best possible quality). The 360 seems to have a very slight pixelation blur. And to point out as well that both systems are wired connections. Another thing I wanted to point out about the 360 is that sometimes its hard to tell whats going on when its a dark scene, I guess you'd call it Black Level, yet I'll watch the same thing on ps3 (netflix of course) and it'll look SO much better, but thats the only big difference is the Black Level.

Personally, I'm enjoying a bit of schadenfreude.  I know it's terrible and every 'fan' of the microsoft brand is going to decimate me for saying it, but I'm just glad to see Xbox is getting it as good as it gave in 2005 and 2006.  

This will pass, but for now it's just fun to watch.  

And now Xbox is in the Playstation position, permanently on the defensive by being offensive.

As long as there will be posts as the likes of Dark_Feanors or Selnors from the CoD resolution thread, where he states we need to see a difference in games to know if there is ANY difference in power and performance between PS4 and the Xbone, threads like these are ok.
When we're all gonna accept the truth they will be more pointless. Anyway, it's not necessarily about swaying anyone to buy one console or another.



So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
