sounds about right. I expect them to sell about the same initially until supply catches up to demand, but after that I expect the ps4 to take the lead in weekly sells, at least until microsoft can get the price in line with that of the ps4.

Definitely both consoles will have absolutely huge launches. It's a great time for the industry, and for us gamers. There's really a lot of great content this time around for all the early adopters I think. Can't wait

This is pretty much what I'm expecting. I'm almost certain that the sales won't be 4/1, 3/1, or even 2/1. I'm expecting about 1.3/1 in the PS4's favor.

Until December 31 sales should go:

PS4: 4 million
Xbone 2.5 million

First half of 2014 weekly sales will be rufly like this:

PS4 115,000 per week
(USA 45K, Europe 40K, Japan & rest 30K)

Xbone 50,000 per week
(USA 30K, Europe 15K, Japan & rest 5K)

So install base by mid 2014 should be:
PS4: +7 million
Xbone: 4 million

Sales by end of 2014 are much harder to perdict since Xbone will be forced to make a desperate price cut in September 2014, but it's hard to estimate its effects at this point.

I think they both are going to sell most of what they make. Sony always has great launches.  But outsellin the Xbox One in North America? Extremly unlikely.  Espically once people can compair the two side by side. 

It will be interesting to see how hight they get in this years most wanted scarcity list where people resell them.

Sounds about right to me, ive been saying for a while that each of the 3 next gen consoles will sell 2-3 million in Nov+Dec.

That Xbone per week is too low. Id say at least 70k+ a week

I suspect that PS4 will do slightly better than X1 for the simple reason that I suspect Sony will have more PS4's built by the end of the year.
