Halo is a good reason to buy the XB1.
It is near the end of the end....
I have been playing Halo since the first. Hell, I was so hardcore, I was one of the few who where playing that title ONLINE via Xbox connect before XBL was ever a THING. I played Halo 4, and while I think they did a good job, to me personally, it just didn't feel like Halo. I think a good part of it was the loss of O'Donnell. I recently went back to Reach, just to have a look and it was obvious.
The loss of Bungie has killed the game for me.

i was also a really hardcore Halo player until Bungie left. I could barely even play Halo 4. The game just came off as very generic being a game that only appeared to be a Halo game. Something akin to those clone games coming from Gameloft. However,I still have some hope left forHalo 5 and 343 because it was their first game they ever developed. But if Halo 5 ends up being another disaster, then I guess I'll just give up on the franchise.
...i just hope that Destiny is as awesome as I think it's going to be. That way I won't mind that Bungie left Halo.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to take a look at Destiny when it drops. Overall, the FPS genre has pretty much run it's course for me but what they're doing with that title gives me some hope that there's still some surprises left. If anyone can do it, it's Bungie.
This is going to be an epic game. But naturally they are going to add a story which some people will like and other will not.
I really like Halo 4, more in some was that some of the others. But that's me.
Plus, I wonder how TitanFall will effect it. One doesn't want them too similar in multi player.

me too... I can't stand COD, MOH, BF etc all those borring "real life" military FPS.... I can't wait to see how titanfall turns out to be, to me it will be the true sci-fi equivalent of COD in way better... well at least I hope so... it's not like it is too difficult....

In my view, Halo 4 is the best halo since Halo:CE and actually the first halo I played through in one sitting (my brother didn't even stand up from the sofa until we had finished it :)). Imagine if we actually get Titanfall, Project Spark, a new Fable AND Halo 5 in the same year! That would be insane!
Halo is the one franchise of MSOFT that I am interested in. It's just so damn fun. If they would build a few more quality franchises, I would be on Xbox, but one franchise can't make me buy a 500 dollar machine unfortunately.

Doesn't look like this has any real information. Not much to say.
