This just feels like they are saying the GamePad is a bad idea. The whole point of Nintendo Land is to demonstrate the asymmetric gameplay.

They're not saying the Gamepad is a bad idea. But the fact that it's been nearly a year and they still try to sell the public on something called "asymmetric gameplay" rather speaks for itself.

NSMBU has gamepad features however. ^

Wii Sports wasnt a pack in In Japan.

That didnt stop it.

So the public think it is a bad idea, and Nintendo are agreeing by shifting focus? Or are they just trying to shift some units while they wait for games that better demonstrate the concept?

They're utilizing the Wii's strategy of the NSMB pack in because they're effective.^

Why dont you people think and stop assuming shit?

Asymetric gameplay and off-tv play were supposed to be the "new motion controls"..even taking into account the poor marketing, I think they vastly overestimated their importance.

Nintendo Land features more uses for the Wii U's controller but NSMBU features off screen play, motion controls, and a couple other tricks. It's not the showcase for the controller that Nintendo Land is but it doesn't neglect the controller, either.

If such a game ever comes, and even then, hope the market will agree and start buying into the concept.

Y'all lack some serious imagination.

Far better bundle.

Need to advertise this shitballs out of this.

I wonder if they're channel stuffing a bit though, went to two Best Buys yesterday and both were fully stocked with the Zelda Wii U bundle and it didn't look they had sold many (and by many I mean none at all, though maybe they sold a few and brought extra units out from the stock room).

The 2DS seems to be moving well though and the Pokemon X/Y hardware bundles were completely sold out.
