They're not saying the Gamepad is a bad idea. But the fact that it's been nearly a year and they still try to sell the public on something called "asymmetric gameplay" rather speaks for itself.

So the public think it is a bad idea, and Nintendo are agreeing by shifting focus? Or are they just trying to shift some units while they wait for games that better demonstrate the concept?
