Fighting Game Fans, I'd guess. As Tekken, Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, Mortal Kombat and Blaz-Blue fans don't take their games seriously really.

I would be all over X1 if we got worthy follow-ups to Banjo, Conker, Jet Force Gemini, hell, even Blast Corps. That would be a dream come true.

@OP: I truly hope Killer Instinct is a great game, but I'm still not completely sold. I know next to nothing about Double Helix and I don't exactly trust Rare to make a great game. Lobb's involvement is a good sign, though. Anyway, I'm hopeful. The series deserves another chance.

Has this site got a fighting game community, that would make this addition to the title worth making?

Gameplay is too important for fighters so I'm not gonna judge about KI until I have played it myself. But if it wants to compete with my favourites (Dead or Alive and Street Fighter) the balancing has to be absolutely perfect. I hate fighting games with bad balancing, that's why I didn't play Street Fighter 4 until Super Street Fighter 4 came out. But that's just something you can't judge based on some trailers.
