I'm into fighting games and more specifically - Soul Calibur. My experience is that if i pull off a big wall combo in that game(5), people just leave the game before the match is even finished. Knowing this game have a much more extensive combo system i can see people leaving the fight long before a combo even finish.

$20 at launch for the base set of 8 characters, but only 6 characters at launch. The last 2 will be avaliable early next year with story mode. There is also a free version with only Jago playable, and you can just buy characters individually. The $20 version is a better deal though.

Ultra Pack is the best buy for $40. You get six characters, early access to the last two, alternative outfits and the original Killer Instinct game (which has more characters that the new KI).  The original KI had eleven characters, which by todays standards is a joke, but I digress.

Looks great! I've never been good at 2D fighters, Soul Calibur kills me, but I MAY pick this up. Also, how do you embed Youtube videos?

The Ultra Pack is definitely for the old school KI fans. I wonder when season two releases, they will have a similar deal with KI2? Hope so. 

I am getting the Xbox One after the PS4, but the Ultra Pack is definitely the best buy and I hope KI2 is in there. I would love to play it with the Xbox One controller because I hated it with the N64 controller.

Seems to me that you are probably going to end up paying $60 for the game. Most will I bet. You just have the option not to do so

I was never a fan of the N64 controller and only played the original KI briefly, but I heard it was one of the better controllers for fighters because of the six button layout.
