despite the rampant piracy on the pc platform , I bet it will still outsell the Wii U version by a huge margin

That's a sure bet... the PC platform is an important part for each of the three big publishers.

45% of Activision's revenue last year came from the PC. Even without WoW, it had the greatest share with 25%... Wii+WiiU got 6%. The first half of 2013 was less impressive, but still much stronger than Wii+WiiU with 2%:

The PC share of EA's revenues was between 20% and 32% the last 5 quarter, comparable to the 360 and PS3... Wii+WiiU fell from 2% to <1%:

Nintendos held a great share of Ubisoft's revenue a few years ago: 47% in 2008/2009 (29% DS + 18% Wii), 40% in 2009/2010 (14% DS + 26% Wii).

The handheld share has gone away (1% DS + 1% 3DS the last 5 quarters), Wii+WiiU fell from 33% to 20% to 13%.

The PC share was under 10% most Ubi-years, last quarter it rose to 20%:

I think you people are being too conservative. I think it will easily surpass 450k a few months after release.

I'll go with 770k

carlos710 - Capitán Primero: Nintendo Defense Force

"Wii are legion, for Wii are many"

More than 400k but less than 500k.

470k would be my guess.

350k is my guess.

Surprised to see so many votes for over 450k. Not seeing a lot of justification for it either.

So, any of the 5 people who voted "less than 50k" like to explain why you think it will sell less than a quarter of what Black Ops II did on Wii U?

Why did you put it in the poll if you consider the predicament ridiculous ?

lifetime? over 700k.

bellow 450k is what needs justification.

200-250. The install base hasn't increased that much since then so I really don't think CoD sales will grow much. I think that some people who bought Black Ops 2 won't buy the next one for any number of reasons. They didn't like it, same game once again, there friends might not be buying it this time, etc.

easy. last year did 200k which is pathetic to say the least, thats what it sold for a WHOLE year, people werent buying it for Wii U even during the drought. the install base hasnt increased that much. All other versions are going to take away from its sales. Hell notice which version isnt even on the preorder charts. Also COD is on a decline anyway, i dont see why the sales would jump that much on a system that its not popular on.

Now your turn to justify why it would sell over 700k. MW3 for Wii didnt come close to that and it was on an install base that was huge. THe only way i could see that is if they dont make a COD for Wii U after Ghosts.

because it sold 200k so far, being a launch title, makes it logical it's sequel will sell much more. the installed base will be several times bigger and the game is releasing on the same day as other versions. not being on the preorder chartz is a pointless argument.
