Have you played the Criterion NFS games? This post would suggest not.
Most Wanted was essentially Burnout Paradise 2 rather than an NFS game.
I think developers having to port to next gen and current gen versions of the Xbox and Playstation home console lines are a big part of the problem. That takes money and time. Resources used in one area eat up resources available for other areas.
And this is EA. This, and the deal with "new" versions of sports games not being new at all, lines up with EA's renewed commitment to maximizing the money they make from investments, even if it's to the overall detriment of their product and fanbase. They're all about the money more than ever.

I thought the vita version sold well, especially on ps store. But whenever you port a console game on a portable naturally people will prefer the console version.
For pete's sake EA, just make some vita specific games

Mr. Khan you are at your best when it comes to EA and Pikmin. Love it.
OT: No big. Also Vita owners. Why not ask for a GT game. I mean they could have surely made one for Vita instead of launching another one for PS3 post PS4 launch. What gives?

I think when you port a game to a much weaker platform, as PS4One -> Wii U, and you can see a difference in quality, that's when people will prefer the better versions. When you port to a handheld though, the fact that it's portable can often defend a product. Obviously such port won't sell as much as an exclusive game, but then again - it's just a port, so the cost of making it are much, much lower to begin with, hence lower sales are ok. I just hope this is as pokoko says and that the next NFS will hit all 7 platforms with full DLC support for all as well.
@Green_sky - don't even get me started on GT6. This is epic and already legendary stupidity on Sony's part. What the hell is wrong with them to release it on PS3 at this point, when you have two new platforms begging for big games!? I hope the game bombs hard. Obviously it won't bomb like W101 or Puppeteer, but I hope it bombs as hard as a GT game can bomb.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/
My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
Wii U version was great. It was just too expensive. Still, it was the only car-based racer on the system. It should have sold better. Wii U owners only have themselves to blame really if they're upset and didn't buy it.

Lol I wanna know what you said before ^^
I thought Vita sales were great. It sold like half what did the X360 version, and the install base grow bigger now.
Need For Speed is one of those franchises. I know it's a good game and it's popular but it comes out so often that I just can't tell one entry from the other. I think, once, they even used the exact same name for one game twice and nobody noticed.
