every ps3/xbox360/ps4/xone should have a port on Vita that realeased in the same time as ps3/xbox360/ps4/xone version not a late port.

If even the Wii U can't get that, why would the Vita?

And if you try to tell me something like that the Vita is more powerful than the Wii U, I'm going to laugh at you.

A lot.

Beyond and Last of us sold well in a 7 years old console that means people still care about ps3 so why don't release game on it,do you think Beyond,Last of us and Gran Turismo would sold that's well on a console with no install base?

If you think first party game will save psv you're wrong yes it will boost vita for somes weeks but it won't save it third party gamecould save it.

Sony made vita devs friendly, it make  ps3 port to Vita easy to do still third party dosn't care  the shitty Call of duty game on Vita do 4 time better then Black ops 2 on wii u still wii u is getting Ghost and Vita no,Assasin Creed Liberation also do good numbers still Ubisoft didn't improove their vita support.

Psp release without security, hack was possible in some month after psp was out so how can you explain  God Of War Chain of Olympus,Tekken Dark Resurection, the 2 gta etc sold well on PSP people stop  buying software when 3rd party abondon it.

Look. It doesn't matter how much TLOU or Beyond sell on PS3! These games are system sellers. 1st party games are games that exist only to convince you to buy this platform over another one. The PS3 doesn't need them now, it's already dead just like PSP. It's done. Its history is already written. It doesn't need more blockbuster 1st party games. Vita needs them. And yes, I have no doubt that should Vita get all these games in 2013 - TLOU from Naughty Dog, GoW:A from SSM, Ni No Kuni, GT6, Beyond: Two Souls and Puppeteer on top of Killzone: Mercenary, Tearaway, Soul Sacrifice and God Eater 2 just this year the perception of the console would have been totally different and there would be a couple million more Vitas in the wild right now, possibly near 10 mil. I mean, just think how many people would buy the console just for TLOU. And if that happened - 3rd parties would see a market and joined the party and the console would be set and started making money. That's just how this business works. I can't blame 3rd parties for being very cautious and cancelling games when they see a decline in sales and insufficient effort from Sony. 2013 PS3 support is epic stupidity on Sony's part. All Sony does for Vita is give us indies, which is cool, but Vita needs AAA games to move hardware and get people excited. The burden is on Sony, just like it is on Nintendo to change the fate of Wii U. But when you look at Wii U, Nintendo is delivering big time now - you get Zelda, Mario 3D, DK, Mario Kart, a bunch of Wii party games, they've managed to secure the new Batman, ACIV, Watchdogs, CoD: Ghosts and there are Bayo2 and Smash Bros. coming soon after, there is X on the horison as well. That's some big time effort, Sony needs to do the same for Vita.

I understand that the next 6 months it's going to be PS4 and PS4 only, but after that - there will be no excuse. They need to focus all the development power that they gave PS3 this year to Vita.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Vita software is better then Wii u software condition that why psv should have a better sopport but in really wii u has more support this and i never say it will happen.

No i don't think Vita is more powerfull and that a reason why 3rd party should care more about Vita then wii u it's cost them less money to make and sold better on PSV then wii u.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

GTA Vita,

The Last Of Us 2 Vita being released next year by Sony Bend,

God Of War Reborn in 2015.

The Bitch is back! And better then ever! #BritneyReturns

SONY Bring them BACK for PS4 and VITA!

Shuhei yoshida, kaz hirai and Jack tretton knocking at peoples doors with a truckload of vita's making a pitch on how vita would be much better for their lives.

I still feel there is a a failing in the Advertisement department. Many still don't know the Vita is a NEW handheld and not just another PSP model. Similar to the issue the WiiU is having.

Like many have said, they do need more AAA games that appeal to a broader audience, this mainly means children. Personally, I love most of the big titles that have hit Vita but they are steered more towards adults....and any casual adult who is not already a gamer has no interest in the device. Don't stop with games like Uncharted and KZ but also give us more Stuff like Tearaway, Something Addictive like Pokemon, etc. These types of games center on small children and children are the driving force of a handheld.

And if/when you do release these types of games don't leave them out to DIE like they did LBP Vita. That was a phenomenal game built from the ground up for Vita and could have very well appealed to small children. Unfortunately it got little to no adverts just like every other Vita release that isn't Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty. For the love of god to get a new handheld off the ground you need more than a simple commercial here and there for only the first week or two after release. These will mostly be new IPs, they don't have the pedigree Mario, Pokemon, etc have for Nintendo so they really don't need to advertise that much. Sony basically needs to "break" into this market again if they want it to live and thats gonna cost some moola.

To many so called hardcore console type games which is a minority of gamers. And that is somthing sony has to remedy. I would liken it to nintendo is just for kids. I don't believe either one of these

Well if remote play ACTUALLY works this time around I will be getting one. The reason I bought a PSP in the first place was for remote play functionality and it was such a pain in the @$$. So many issues with poor performance and router issues etc. made it an exercise in frustration more often than not.

If it works I'll get one. It'll be interesting to see whether it encourages others to get one as well.

Also late/lazy ports need to stop. I like the idea that many games are becoming multiplatform with Vita. Some games in particular I would NEVER buy for the big screen but would adore on Vita. Basically All indie games really. The Vita is supposedly a breeze to port/develop for, all Indie stuff should also be available to play on Vita. Just like how all DD PS1 titles were playable on Vita, this should be standard.
-Transistor, Bastion, Everything Housemarque makes/made, etc come to mind, would be perfect for on the go. If they are cheap(usually around 15bucks or more), bundle them in 2s on cart so they can be sold in store. Which is another issue within itself.

Most of the Vita's Library is Digital, fine, but for the mass majority of the userbase you should be going for(children) they still buy their games physically.....lacking a credit card and all. Vita's representation of what games are available at retail is pitiful. Usually consists of 2 by 8 rows of games that debuted with the console. What?! I look at this and I'm like there have been 5 disc games that have come out since then. Sony should have Posters put in their pitiful Vita sections at Gamestop that highlight some of the games also available for DD. And of course put the rack for PSN cards right next to it.

And I actually agree with some of you guys sentiments, that they need to stop releasing stuff for PS3. Anyone who is buying a PS3 from here on out is doing it already for the back log off stuff they missed out on. 1st Party stuff should be reserved for the consoles that will need proving, PS4 and Vita. Beyond, The Last of Us, GT6, Puppeteer......should have all been released on PS4 and/or Vita (Puppeteer would have been a great handheld game and would have performed better too, or a much better alternative to the horrendous Knack on PS4).

Personally, I'm very happy with my Vita. I'm a fan of niche and Indie games. My commute to work is almost 3 hours round trip each day. So the Vita is perfect for me. Between the very underrated library of games and the free ones you get with PS+, I have far more games than I have time to play. Been playing a lot of Hotline Miami and KZ: Mercenary recently. Really looking forward to Tearaway and Y's: Memories of Celceta next month.
