I also never had that bad luck of 30 pokes with perfect IVs but bad nature, at most I got 8 like that

I found out what was screwing up my chances. Seems that if you use both parents with a said ability, you have a 90% chance for the offspring to have the same ability.

Since both my 4 perfect IV Roselias that I was using for fast eggs were Poison Pint, that was the reason I was having such a massive number of 5 perfect IV Poison Pint.

Checked on my egg moves, what IVs to pass and planned everything accordingly....completely overlooked that aspect >_>.

Oh well, tomorrow i'll finally have it, since I now have both parents with 4 Perfect IVs and Natural Cure.

Quick question on IVs; I got a 5 31iv ditto off gts earlier, if I use destiny knot on it, will those evs pass down, or will I still get a random chance for two of the IVs? I'm new to breeding for IVs, before I just used what I caught or hatched regardless of IVs, and I wanna have a competitive team this time around.

Is a random change that the son will get 5 IVs from the parents, what IVs get passed and from whom is all in the RNG

OT: While looking for a fifth member on my team I found a perfect IV pokemon that I got from wonder trade, I just need to breed it for the correct nature :D

They're all EV trained, but none of them IV breed fully, infact the only ones I've been IV breeding thus far were Greninja and Rotom, the former of which I got a X/X/X/31/31/31 which I'm content with for now, and Rotom I only got a 31 in HP, but his IVs are outstanding overall according to the Judge, so I've been content using him aswell. Infact I'm content with my entire team as they all have above average stats all around, and they've been wrecking face online and at the Battle Maison, so I'm not afraid to take on anything! At some point I'll remember to make a global link account so I can wreck faced in rated battles too!

Finally, my team is complete. Natural Cure Timid Roselia with 31/X/31/31/31/31 IVs and both Sleep Powder and Leaf Storm as egg moves.

Now to train them to perfection and i'll have my competitive team up and running.
