Very impressive.

I'm really curious to see the numbers when Vita TV launches.

In terms of percentages, the first price cut didn't work too well because some retailers cut the price of the system the week before, so those numbers are higher than they should've been (the 11k).

It also had a couple of releases. Awesome all the same. Reminds me of the over-80k weeks it had following the price drop some six months ago. Hopefully it holds onto some of this boost.

I'm a little suprised. And that numbers without Vita TV, GE2 and FFX models yet.
This proves my theory that Vita it was never dead... at least in Japan :P

No need to get too excited. It will drop next week. Still, every Vita that gets out into the wild helps sell more units by word of mouth--and by virtue of being a sexy bit of hardware.

What I'm genuinely pleased about is that Dangan Ronpa 1.2 Reload, which is (PSP) games 1 & 2 bundled together, sold so well. The Vita is moving software at an excellent rate and it's clear that Vita owners are hungry for content. Developers have clearly noticed.

It's going to be a slow climb but I think the Vita is on the way up.

Too bad it's not 1600% from when it was selling 16,000. Damn Monster Hunter and Pokemon come out and Vita sales in Japan are crap for the last month.

I know you don't like him but twisting what he said like this just so you may have a go at him in a different thread is a bit silly don't you think?

 

OT: A decent and well needed boost. Vita should be able to float above the 10k mark until GE2. Hopefully Wii U can get to 20k or 15k at the very least when the two new bundles arrive but I won't hold my breath...
