Forums - Sales Discussion - Vita sales up 1600% in Japan!

OK, it was indeed 60k. Though the % was much more in favor this week. However, Vita did manage 2 weeks at 60k. Can it do it again this time?

vita is selling best in weeks without new big games confirmed

sounds pretty good, not even sure what this new edition is but that is a huge jump.

It's slimmer, with an LCD screen instead of an OLED. I think there is 2GB memory included in these. Oh and a bit better battery

is it also cheaper? otherwise i think i would rather buy the "old" model with oled.

SAVED!!!!!!!!! see guys you don't need games to sell hardware

Stop with the lies. Just the last 3 weeks there have been about 10 games releases in europe. In Japan and the US its even more.

How many of them were pokemon?

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

i do love how percentages make things sound AMAZING! lol

it's nice but it could be better

the PSP 3000 sold over 140,000
20,000 the week before

Japan = Mobile

At this point for Vita, this is as good as it gets. GE2 (and Vita TV) could see HW over 100k but for now 60k is a great number.

Amazing considering this was the same week that Pokemon X and Y released.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
