Those two paragraphs together makes it sound even more restrictive. Reading the first paragraph by itself, I would think, "ok, not bad. It's like the 360. You can play it on any PS4 as long as you're signed in.". Then we move on to paragraph two. Which talks about how many times you can download it. The first paragraph talked about how you can play it. It says you can download the game on 2 consoles associated with the purchasing account. Wait.. what? Re-read paragraph one again. You can play on other PS4s when signed in. Other... OTHER.... OTHER!!!!!???!? Not any? You can play on other PS4s out of the two you downloaded to?

Yosh said you can play in your home and another PS4 at the same time... exactly like PS3.

I thought you could buy a game on PSN download it. Give the details of your account to a friend and he re-downloads the game to hes PSN. This was done so that if people ever got new systems that they could re-download the game up to 5 times. This was reduced to two times a few years back.

If you do that though and buy a new PS3 you wont be able to re-download games you already bought. Which was shitty? Doesnt this new way make it better?

Why are people saying this is bad? Or am i missing something?

People who are saying it is bad are either those who knew of the exploit and liked to 'abuse it'. Or other that think it's comparable to MS Family Share lie. All this does is close the exploit.

When I used an actual web browser (like the one I posted on page 2), it comes up with the option to deactivate any of the 4 devices I had set up on my PSN account individually. Not all at once.

 

Also, people seem to be getting very confused over something quite simple here. Currently you can't log into your PSN account more than once on a PS3, why would they change this? The changes to this exploit means that you have a master system and then as many other systems as you want. A Downloaded game to the master system (...yeah I know) will be available for all users on that system, then if you download it on another system (say your mates), you can only use that game when logged in to PSN (not sure how it works this out mind you but still). So, if your mate is logged in as you on his system playing your game and you log in on your system, it'll log him out.

This is how I understand it.

Oh it's deactivate all. I was looking to deactivate ony the one that was stolen. So it's easy enough to reactivate my home one so I guess that's what I'll do.

Why aren't we blowing this out of proportion and saying Ps4 sucks?!?!?!

Again, try the normal web one, there is no deactivate all on there for me. It has 'System' writen with numbers and when I click on them it says 'deactivate'. Doesn't mention all. If the system was your first system, then it should be easy to find, I'm sure.

That's what I tried first time, and it said I couldn't deactive via PC. So it looks like all consoles yes, single console no. Anyway it's done, all activated consoles deactivated and my home one reactivated.
