"Take-Two Interactive Software Inc.’s latest “Grand Theft Auto” was slated for spring 2013 before being delayed for further development. The game, which features gangsters swimming with sharks, cost $250 million to develop and market."

Swimming with sharks, the reason 20 million plus people bought GTA V, now every game with have shark swimming simulator!

All right, on topic: I will be curious how much damage this does to Ubisoft. Watch Dogs needs to do major sales to redeem this investment.

So instead of this year, they are putting it near Titanfall. The medias darling new IP. Titanfall will destroy WDogs in reviews and media time. What are Ubi thinking?

What else is in April.  If PS4 has somehting too then they are really taking a risk releasing against "excluisves".

It doesnt matter what Sony has in April. Titanfall is gonna be a monster. It broke all records for media awrds at E3. Since then has had even more praise, people who dont like Fps's are impressed. I wont be surprised to see 95-97 meta on this one.

The man is right. Just look at Rayman. It sure paid off for the delay.

I guess Ubisoft aren't accustomed to making HD games either.

Guillemot's strategy of driving up production values and increasing costs in order to drive out competitors who can't spend that much seems like it may be backfiring.

mAN WHAT THE HELL.

Why is everyone so negative? Ubisoft knows what it's doing. I like that they are trying to secure good quality and I believe it will pay off for Watch Dogs.

Ubisoft will remain very successful in the future. They have an incredible lineup of game series.

but it will increase the numbers of the next fiscal year!

that also shows that even the companies which are considered to be successful are always close to bad financial numbers. delay one or two games and you look bad in that year even with all the other games you released in that fiscal year or the years before which still sell little bit and got a dlc or two in this fiscal year.

take 2 is also a good example, gta is pretty much the game which has to get back all the losses of the last years and probably next years. a time where the company releases probably 50 other games...

You think Titan Fall is going to be bigger than GTA V then?
