Not really an issue. The 3DS doesn't present a lot of compelling software for me.

I just don't see it offering me a significantly different experience.

There are plent of games on the DS I would play before I ever touched a 3DS.

I've had quite a few different experiences.

Although I'd say Castlevania should be more like the DS games or like a well thought out game in the same vein as the original Super castlevania.

lol she would never like Fire Emblem.  She seems to like puzzle games on the internet and there are a few decent eshop puzzle games that she might enjoy.  She isn't much of a gamer so anything too complex wouldn't be for her.  The 2DS will remain mine (gave an ex a DS Lite back in the day and regret doing it).  I just wanted to expose her to better games. 

The 3DS is full of puzzle games. Mainly why I have one XD Its also full of RPG's. Other reason I have one.
Japan has all the action games ._.

I have a 3DS, love the 3D "gimmick", couldn't do without it. So no i didn't but one, and don't plan on it. Though I see it as a great cheap alternative for people who want to play it and don't care for 3D.

Sometimes I cant even see the 3D, but then I hop on NIntendo Video and the guy advertising the Eshop on it is popping off the screen XD

I really like the depth perception factor

its really preference if anything. if you dont like 3D and you dont like flipping your device up and down constantly 2DS is better for you.
