Look at the comment section of Wii sports sales. Ninty fans bragging about how much it is selling. Makes me chuckle.

I strongly disagree. I think the Wiimote was the biggest system seller for the Wii. You could have bundled the Wii with a turd and it would have still been sold out.

Exactly.

All Wii Sports did was give you an example of the technology behind the hardware. the game itself is extreamly simple.

I think the wii would be nothing without the wiimote and the wiimote nothing without wiisports. The combo created a novelty that casuals and hard core fans ate up. No one can prove that either one alone would have sold as much as it did.

i never saw people talk about this game... even "fanboys or fangirls or fangays"
but this was one of the major selling point of wii anyways.... so it would definitely still count in my opinion...

remember all those broken tv because of the bowling?
