I am a pokemon noob. first one since red and blue.. I dont know wich one to get? whats the diffrence, other then the rare pokemon. My favorite pokemon is machamp i am mostly intrested in wich version he will be in.

Well there is a diference with the mega evolutions of Mewtwo and Charizard

Otherwise the rest of the pokemon will be either in both version or neither.
Also any pokemon on that list I posted that has a Mega form not shown, their stone is on the other version. So you have to trade for it.
