Amazon UK have just increased the pre-order price for the PS4 (see here). Does this suggest that stocks are starting to run dry? If you’re from the US, you’ll find it difficult to find a retailer that isn’t currently out of stock, check out our import ps4 article on how to use international retailers to guarantee a PS4. Whilst the console is already over £100 ($160) more than the USA retail price, international demand is increasing as USA retailers are currently out of stock. Does this suggest increased pre-orders from abroad? What ever the reason, if you haven’t already pre-ordered, the price is now much more for those wanting to pre-order from Amazon UK.
Before the increased price

Woow I love the fact people saying price been increased due to high demand but amazon dosent say that I do love Sony loyalities even their website making up a news good for Sony
|
Its either that, and they know that people will pay for it, or its a site glitch? What other explanation can you give?
I think its pretty obvious at the moment that one of the consoles has far more pre-orders than the other, and it seems that in the UK the situation is the same as in the rest of the world
Frustrated much? :P

Why would anyone buy that when you can go to any other online retailer and buy it for £349 or walk into any store and order it for £349.
Do Amazon think ps4 buyers are stupid?

Yes they think and they are correct. Not only PS4 buyers but most every consumer out there. The only reason they would keep the pricepoint that high, if they woulkd still sell them... maybe they can guarantee that buyers will receive it day 1? Maybe buyers know that they are a big enough retail chain that they can fulfill the orders?
No matter how we spin it, one thing is certain. Nobody would pay more than the NSRP for an unwanted device. I think its a pretty obvious conclusion that the PS4 is a hot item at the moment, so the person I quoted was simply bashing the posters and their conclusions, that are most deffinatly true.
