Im buying regardless

Oddly, I have noticed that when I go back to the main menu and choose "chapters" every sequence I have done so far shows up in chronological order, starting from left to right.

So if I REALLY want to play everything in order from when everything began, I could do so after I finish the game in it's entirety.

Very strange design choice if you ask me.

By the way, just hit a chapter in the game that was AWESOME!

Some of these chapters are a ton of fun.

Blasphamy. Interactive movies cant be fun.

Now people are playing it, can anyone say why it reviewed worse than Heavy Rain?

Sure it can. I have had plenty of fun watching movies.

I would say more emphasis on storytelling rather than gameplay and the lack of your choices feeling as though they have any real impact on the storyline.

With Heavy Rain someone could die and the game continues. WIth this game it seems like no matter what you do each chapter could play out differently but still reach the same end point.

Not sure if that all holds true later on though, but as of right it seems that way. Still, if you enjoyed a title like Heavy Rain I am sure you will love Beyond.

played about 3-4 hours of it and love it! Ellie and Dafoe do a superb job! and the usage of Jodie and Aiden is just great....if you enjoyed Heavy Rain or Fahrenheit you'll be in for a treat.

I already talked about the first one and the fact that it was in actuality no better than an 84 or 85.  I didn't feel any need to point out that Judgement was scored 10 points too high as well.

Well I really enjoyed Heavy Rain so that's reassuring. However it's a shame about the choices as I enjoyed replaying to see different outcomes. Sticking with my preorder regardless so I guess I'll find out on Friday.
