I think maybe one person used the Graphics Whore as a reply - after someone said something along the lines of - "it's not next gen really, look at the graphics lol lol".  Which if you're using graphics to define/deny generation - you probably deserve.

Let's not call people out on generalising and blind assumptions - when you're only too happy to base the two points of your post around them.

Fyi, the WiiU's interface and UI is just as competent as any next gen console's. That is the point. Its got games on it. So if any appeal to you buy it. And try something new while you're at it eh?

You know its funny. But when i was choosing between ps3 and x360 2 years ago, the last reason for my choice was sony fanboys. I was buying a console for multi, exclusive games were not so important for me. So sony trolls was the thing why i bought x360, since i didn't want to be associated with this behavior the smallest possible way...

I prefer SCE studio games over Nintendo games.

No one's arguing quality of product or effort that goes into the games at all, but Nintendo produces the equivalent of Disney animated films which I enjoy, just not all the time or even most of the time when I want to watch a movie, whereas Sony published exclusives like Uncharted, The Last of Us, Heavy Rain, Killzone, God of War, etc. to say nothing of all the third party titles that never made it to Nintendo platforms and won't be making it to the Wii U.

It's a simple matter of taste in games.

I may pick up a Wii U eventually when the next Metroid or Zelda comes out and either game is something I intend to play all the way through even if that doesn't actually happen. I didn't come close to finishing Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Metroid Prime 3 or Metroid Other M so maybe that just says something about what I'd rather be playing if I'm only going to be playing X number of hours worth of games per week.

I pre-ordered a 3DS, played with it for a little over a year and now it often goes months between being turned on.

The Wii U just isn't a priority and it just doesn't get me excited. Nothing about it does.

Also how are fanboys hurting Sony when forum fanboys make up less than 0.10 percent of the total userbase and most people don't think as irrationally as you guys do? Seems like you're commenting out of butthurt that people here don't want a Wii U rather than being genuine.
