Forums - Sony - Shuhei Yoshida Gives More Info on The Last Guardian, Blames Jack Tretton for Misleading Everyone

No because of many things he said.

Not to mention the fact  he called the 3DS out for being "kiddie and a babysitting tool"

Yoshida's always been more of a real and mellow guy

Well, another new about Duke Guardian Forever. This is just sad. I hope the game will finally live up to the expectations.

By the way, in my opinion the successor to Ico and Shadow of the Collossus was already released: Pandoras Tower give a similar feeling. For me the true successor. Lets see how TLG turns out, maybe it can become the fourth entry in the series.

Rime for the PS4 gives a similar vibe as well. But I didn't play Pandora's Tower, so I can't really comment on that game.

I didn't play Rime. So maybe Team Ico inspired a lot of devs to create games in this direction. Not a bad thing, I assume.

EDIT: That would include Journey as well, as Sal suggests.

I find it sad that people these days hate when developers take a lot of time to make a game, and want developers to keep making games every year.

I can wait forever if the game would be a masterpiece , I don't want to play more of the same game i played last year

@allblue
I felt the same way when I saw the initial TLG trailer several years ago. Everyone was going crazy over it, and I was confused as to why.

I just played Ico for the first time recently, and I'm just about finished with Shadow of the Collosus. All I can say is I get it now. Ico started out very slow but I grew to love it. SotC? I adore this game. Can't say that about any other game ive played.

Btw...has anyone played Shadow of he Colossus in 3D? Ive been blown away. Honestly? Uncharted 2's visuals didn't even drop my jaw like SotC in 3D has. Its a ps2 game!! How is that possible??? The 3D is incredible (I have one of the better rated TVs for 3D I think; hopefully its not just bc of this).

Last thing ill say to prove my point...
My buddy watched me play it for a bit. He actually really dislikes 3D movies. I love them, but when we go to a movie, its gotta be the non-3d version for his sake.
YET...within minutes of watching me play SotC, my friend said "man, if this is how 3D looks in games, all games should be made in 3D."

Anyways, I was gonna make a thread about this. I wanna hear what ppl think. Might still make it.

Yeah 3D really makes games looks better

Given how long they teased PS3 owners with it, they better release it for both systems.

Sony itself admit that they won't make cross-gen retail games. :(

Yeah i saw that in the other thread. They should release it on the PS3 then, but somehow i have my doubts. We'll see.
