I wish they would stop making Bowser the bad guy but other then that....I'm convent to buying the game. One more thing, no homo but is it me or did Bowser look sexy in this trailer. I don't know maybe its the car and Los Vegas style music. :3

Well, he is the bad guy shown to us. However, with so many Mario 2 elements (POW blocks, four characters, cherries, and VERY Subcon looking fairy people), I'm still holding out hope that there is even more Mario 2 goodness we aren't being shown. I dream of a Bowser/Wart team-up. Hell, even a cameo by some Shyguys and maybe Mouser would make my millenium.

Having said that, the game is looking gorgeous and polished, very impressive, far better looking than Galaxy for what it's worth to the complainers out there. And many of those level designs look very creative.

Game seems to have come together very nicely since E3. This was definitely a panic-mode release to get it out in time for holiday 2013, but nevertheless, it looks fantastic for what it is. I will indeed be buying it for $59 over Thanksgiving.

It's a shame Mario Kart 8 won't be coming for at least another six months, but oh well. No use crying over spilled milk. Perhaps Wii Party U will be a hit and Wii U will survive this holiday on those two games.

Given Nintendo's impeccable commitment to QA, I'm not sure they're capable of a "panic-mode" release.

If this game ships with a slough of bugs and level design gaffs, you have my permission to tell me, "I told you so."

Edit: Watched the video, and holy crap this game has the craziest array of powerups since SMB3. Awesome.

Yeah. When the functions of them are not immediately apparent, you know they're doing something right with outside the box thinking.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

The new power ups don't really interest me much :/

Level design looks much better this time around.

Mother of god. The king has returned. Game of the year, people.

I miss the other hubs, back with Peach's Castle, Delfino Plaza, Rosalina's Observatory (which was meh, but still something). But, since this is a 3D version of the 2D games, I guess it fits to not have much of a hub at all. ;)

But to stray away from that, at least it looks neat!

It still leaves a bad taste in my mouth compared to the Galaxy games, but it does look substantially upgraded since E3. The level design looks less limited, and there's finally some interesting ideas, like the duplication cherries and the shadow levels.

Bump up from "meh" to "good."

Stick to your guns, man.

Say something like: "Too little, too late. Bowser should pay Xzibit a visit, so that someone finally puts spikes on the spikes on his car."

Sorry, my bad.

"The lack of individualy animated grass blades with physics ruins the immersion, and the lack of actual cat motion catpure makes the cat suits unconvincing. Needs moar heat distorion coming off each individual fireball you shoot."

Better? :p

Admit it. I was right, and you jumped to conclusions based on footage from World 1.

It doesn't have the word Galaxy in it therefore it is complete shit no matter how good the gameplay video might be
