It's a shame Mario Kart 8 won't be coming for at least another six months, but oh well. No use crying over spilled milk. Perhaps Wii Party U will be a hit and Wii U will survive this holiday on those two games.

Given Nintendo's impeccable commitment to QA, I'm not sure they're capable of a "panic-mode" release. 

If this game ships with a slough of bugs and level design gaffs, you have my permission to tell me, "I told you so."

Edit: Watched the video, and holy crap this game has the craziest array of powerups since SMB3. Awesome.

Yeah. When the functions of them are not immediately apparent, you know they're doing something right with outside the box thinking.
