What? First off we don't know if it's another Amnesia or not (I don't think so) so Amnesia fanbase shouldn't be upset because it will become exclusive. Frictional aren't tied to PC, they can develop for whoever they won't, maybe this time Sony hired them to make a game for PS platforms, totally natural. Also big 3 are going for exclusives all the time. Shouldn't Nintendo fund Bayonetta 2 because they take away from people on PS/Xb who bought 2 millions of copies of Bayonetta 1, and bought a lot of other games from Platinum Games. Shouldn't Microsoft get an exclusive game from Insomniac Games because they take it away from PS fanbase which pretty much had Insomniac as 2nd party, or fund Dead Rising 3, because the over 1 million people who bought DR2 for PS3 won't have a chance to play it on PS platforms? 

I may be upset because I most probably will be PS4 only next-gen, but to say it's not cool? Come on now. If they have the money they can do whatever they want, good for them, nothing not cool about it.

i never said that it will be exclusive, a new amnesia or whatever. i was just responding to badgenome who was talking about the potential of an exclusive game and i said i just hope that if sony paid for an exclusivity deal, that they didn't buy it away from pc with this money. if it is a game which would never come to any platform without sony it is something else but if it is a game which was also planned for pc and wouldn't come to pc anymore it would suck.

that's also why there is no problem with bayonetta 2 because it only comes to any platform because of nintendo. 

so yes, i think it is shit that sony and microsoft pay developers to make their games exclusive to one platform if the same games would also release on the platform without money. just not as console exclusive game then.

to take microsoft as example, why should i like that microsoft paid some indie developers on 360 to make the games 1 year exclusive? did a 360 player gain something from that?

Sales of those games were higher on 360 no doubt, plus maybe someone decided to buy an 360 instead of a PS3 because of those hypothetical games. And that's how things work, everyone wants to be successful, exclusives help a lot. After a possible emotional reaction, at the end of the day I can't honestly blame any of those bussinesses for trying to do good bussiness.

i know why they do it but i don't support it  i would rather like to see microsoft or sony to pay for one more new game which we wouldn't get otherwise instead of 5 timed exclusive or console exclusive games we would also see without this payment but on even more platforms.
