Finally indeed. He started out good but the past year and a half have been torture with trades and poor decision making. Damage is done, now lets see who replaces Gillis and how good he builds the team.

Good choice considering how much he likes the city. It will be interesting to see who he hires as a GM and whether or not they keep Tortorella who still has four years on his contract. It will also be interesting to see if Canucks acquire a new more developed goaltender. Hopefully they keep Kesler. Hopefully Horvat turns out to be as great as he is in the smaller leagues.

Goaltender is key. Lack seems decent this year from what I've seen but he's still young, needs more experience.

I think Lack would make a really good backup goaltender because he was much better as backup. Lack is one of those inconsistent goaltenders that looks good for a stretch and then does average for a stretch. Defense starts with the Goalie and how much the defense can count on the goalie to operate on a more open and offensive game to generate goals. This is exactly what the Canucks need.

Who do you guys think's going to get the Presidents Trophy this year?

Go Detroit!!! Make it #23!!

I would say Boston.

What I think is interesting is that it looks like Lack, Luongo and Schneider will all miss the playofs this year.
