Forums - Website Topics - Site Feedback for GamrReview

Reviews by a specific reviewer should show their past scores on the same page as their listed reviews.

Ie; on this page : http://www.gamrreview.com/author/arthur-kabrick/

I should be able to see the scores he's given at a glance.

I believe we should also be able to see who the author is on the site.

I support this. More tranparency never hurt anyone. The same should apply to all the reviewers, also to avoid claim for people who are unhappy with the score.

I remeber quite an uproar with one of those reviews for example (some months ago) anyone know what i'm talking about?

I dont think it makes much of a difference. All the reviews the author has done does show up on hes page...you just need to click on the link to go to the review you interested in and see the score from there.

However, i don't think it would take much effort to just add the score inline with the link to the review...The problem with that is that it discourages people to actually go and read the review or at the very least click on the link and go and see what the score is.

More clicks and views is good for the author and good for the site i assume. So at the very least we should be supporting the authors of the site...i doubt they get much money for what they do.

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

VGChartz and gamrReview are independent. I am one of the few gamrReview writers who is at all active on this site.

Sure. I just want to commend Arthur for his excellent previews of Beyond and Ratchet.

I think real names are fine. I do not even think that O-D-C is there anymore. They can leave their names from other sites they are on, but what would be the point. If you do not remember who they are from before, then does it matter?

I would not consider 2 posts a week or month active Kantor... :P?

Compared to the other authors? Anyone who's ever been a mod, you lot traumatise so badly that they never want to come back. Just look at Naz and Machina.
