Forums - Microsoft - Report: Dead Rising 3 also coming to Xbox 360

Only possible on Xbone, eh, Microsoft?

capcom said that and well, they said "fully unconstrained world not possible on 360". that was probably a way to say that the game is possible on 360 but with loading times and just worse looking in general.

instead of a truly open world without loading times it will probably load when you reach a new area and so on...

Well that's a bummer :(

Why's that a bummer?  More people being able to play it is a good thing in my book.  I wanted to play this, but I wasn't going to go and buy a new console for it.  Now I can play it, so I'm happy.

It means it's a cross gen game, not a true next gen one like Forza and Ryse. Unless the 360 version is being ported by a different studio like with Titanfall, it will negatively affect the xbone version.

Also it makes the xbone launch lineup weaker.

isn't this a good news for those who want to play the game but can't affort a X1 on launch? Whis is this a bad news?

Well, theres a few ways you can look at it.

Only possible through corporate politics, contractual aggreement, and only possible through technical limitations.

Chalk this one up to corporate politics.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

I don't understand how this is a bad thing at all. More than likely it will launch several months later on 360 with the definitive version being on X1. Most of the people that will get the 360 version over X1 will be those that didn't plan on getting an X1 at launch or during launch window to begin with.

Very strange if true.

I imagine that with pre-orders beeing sluggish a plan B had to be devised.

Plan C: PS3/4 version.

Good news for fans of the series, now you don't need to buy an X1 to enjoy the next installment.

Wouldn't call it good news but at least the 360 gets another exclusive besides Fable Anniversary if its true.  I wouldn't want to play the 360 version because it will be a severe downgrade plus I'm guessing it will miss a lot of the feautres of the X1 version.

Upon confirmation from MS or the devs themselves, I'm not buying this source.

Plan C isn't going to happen the game was paid for and will be published by Microsoft the only way it will end up on a Sony console is if someone buys as greedy as EA (Mass Effect) buys Capcom.
