Downgrade? Because the previous footages on PS4 was running in 60fps.

if they are being so conservative about the performance on ps4, I wonder if the wii u version will be anything good...

Is between current and next gen, which is expected. Closer to current gen apparently.

Nintendo and PC gamer

    No biggie as long as the game is good.

Seems some people fail to realize certain truths about game developing - even if PS4/XOne were 3TFLOPS machines, lot (if not most) of genres would still be 30fps - devs will always try to push more things on screen, if stable 30fps is enough for fluid gameplay.

Still, it's a cross-gen game so it's not like they're making a lot of effort to push new effects and stuff.

No idea what they're gonna push or not - we'll see once they release all versions how much difference there is.

What I'm saying is that no matter how big your TFLOPS budget is, it's not that hard to spend it and come down to 30fps  (even if it's only for better AA or bit more particles), so if they think 30fps is enough for fluid gameplay, they will always go for that.

What are you people thinking? Were you all not around at the beginning of this generation? Launch games are always not that amazing when compared to the best games from the previous generation. And the leap in power in the One and the PS4 are not as big as the leap in power last generation. Everyone needs to get back to reality and realize that a lot of launch games will not be a huge leap. And a lot of launch games will disappoint in terms of polish and gameplay, which is something we see in every generation.

Besides, we've been playing 30 fps games this whole generation and they all looked and played fine, so I'm sure 30 fps with the level of detail that next gen games have will be fine too.

It's not a tragedy, though it is a pity.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

eww 30fps, fuck that preorder cancelled ;)

So this time they actualy screwed the game on PS4,chek out this quote;

"Right now the frame rate we're focussing on [is] a steady 30[FPS]," said Morin speaking to us at Eurogamer Expo this afternoon. "There's always a balance, especially for open world, between the simulation and the rest.

PR bullshit detected

They are. it's pc built with downports for everyhing else. it's not an upport of a ps360 developed game.
