That'd be right, leave Wii U with nothing but Super Mario 3DS World to fend against the PS4. Nintendo, you fucking morons.

LOL PS4 and XBONE are going to be sold out this holiday. It's when the launch chaos ends that the three way battle really heats up as far as sales go.

hope it is not true, they had a good portion of the year without releasing a single game to sort their shit out. Donkey Kong and Mario is what is needed to curve the momentum of the PS4/one back into the wii u's favor. Hope it is not true. Finger's cross peeps

How many people are seriously in the "I'll take that PS4 with Killzone please .... omygosh Donkey Kong Country! Now with Dixie Kong! PS4 pre-orderz cancelled" boat?

Two different platforms for two different audiences.

Software sells hardware; the Wii U desperately needs major games to do well this holiday.

This "delay delay delay" horseshit is exactly what got the Wii U in its atrocious current state. You'd think Nintendo would learn their lesson, but I can only imagine everyone involved in marketing the Wii U is currently suffering from Absolute Idiocy Syndrome.

I think "software sells hardware" is kind of a false misnomer to be honest. Every system eventually has lots of games to plays and even a fair amount of good quality ones. There has to be more factors to it than that.

The Playstation/XBox audience is such that they simply like games that tend not to be popular on Nintendo platforms or aren't on Nintendo platforms at all (or anything equivalent).

And early adopters tend to be the most loyal of any fan base, you're not going to stop any one of those PS4/XB1 early adopters even if you had all the Mario games in the world.

To get the attention of those people, you would need to have something like Destiny or Titanfall exclusive for Wii U this fall, not Donkey Kong Country and another Mario game.

I don't believe that gamers fall so neatly into separate categories. Many people enjoy both platformers and shooters, both Nintendo and non-Nintendo games.

most of those people are gonna be your multiplaform owners. as he said those games werent going to stop anyone who had their minds set on either PS4orxbone

Delaying to early Feb. is actually a smart move, and I wouldn't be mad anyway with all the games coming (incl. 3rd party).

Not everyone has their mind made up though.
