I'm not a big portable gaming fan, so PSV is still priced higher than what I'd pay for it, but I'm happy they're able to keep it alive, because I tried it and it's the first portable I found comfortable to use for its form factor, size and command layout (besides having an excellent screen), and considering than in a portable you caan't change these features, it's very important. When I tried PSP, apparently similar, but smaller, and with the analog stick in a lower position, it gave me hand cramps. I tried 3DS too and I didn't like the screen at all, I also find its form factor a little awkward for some fast-paced games like racers, although the dual screen can be very handy for some games, considering the small screen area portables have (but also PSV rear touch pad can help about this issue, to avoid having to obstruct the screen's view with your fingers).
Anyhow, I stopped gaming on my smartphone a few weeks after I started, after Drag Racing bored me and Real Racing 3 policies and flaws pissed me off a lot, and for most games the controls offered by smartphones are just not enough, not to mention that having a cheap model, I'll have to root it and move some system apps from internal memory to SD if I want to install some other games on it (the first installs I did probably went well because before updates, OS and system apps used less space), and finally on a small screen smartphone, games that require a lot of touch commands are just unplayable, so I wish PSV the best, because it's currently the best candidate to persuade me to do more portable gaming.

You're not reading everything im saying. You can deposit games on your PS3 or PC. Just stash the games you arent actively playing on there and withdraw them when you want to play them. There is no need for large memory cards on the Vita (besides convenience). You can do all this wirelessly aswell.

I dont think you can do this with the 3DS though.

Well I can store stuff on multiple SD cards,file copying and storing is simple with the 3DS but why would I buy a PS3 and then buy a Vita?

Well $250 was a very steep price to ask. Even now at $200 it seems pricey, especially when you consider that memory cards are still pricey post price drop and a single new title costs ~$40.

Only if you like the Vita exclusive games. Which is usually the main reason for buying any console or handheld.

Edit: Unless of course, you do not like the games or find the library to thin for your taste.

Ya, gotta say that all though PS consoles are the Sony fans bread and butter, Vita being shelved wouldn't help their "internetz forum arguments" very much :P

The vita library is pretty much on the PS3. I dont really like Sony's output on it either or their design philosophy.

I'd buy one for japanese 3rd party games and Soul Sacrifice/Gravity Rush/Freedom Wars thats pretty much it.

But Im trying to compell everyone to really think about what they're trying to argue, so the things I say are to push them to that point.

By asking a question that you already have an answer to? Its all about different opinions in the end. There is no expensive console or handheld if you really want it but a lot of excuses if you don't.

I feel like this is one of those stories they mean to be a positve, but sorta comes off as a negative.
