Me too, but it's also like "BAM" when the game comes out, you get overloaded with greatness.

It'd be pretty sick if you could get time bonus' that are hidden in the land.

It could be possible, at the end of the first stage when Mario was on the falg pole the timer was about 420 seconds once.

Yeah, that way you can go around and explore.
I have an overall question. I've only seen a few screens of the game. Are the stages technically flat like in 3D land for 3DS? Or is it "open world" kinda like ... I guess any "3d" platformer.

can't answer that, too little showed on the first one. And just one stage by the way.
Oh, i bet that like 3D Land, 3D World will have a few star stages that are races against the clock.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

That is where additional difficulty levels come into play.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Kind of DK64? I liked those ones. I am not going to play Super Mario 3D Land just because I want 3D World to feel entirely new. Besides I am trying to get reare franchises games on the 3DS.
So, if you have so much time that you don't have to worry about it then why include a timer? I mean, in that case, it has no purpose at all. Either it adds to the challenge or it just does nothing.

Play luigi u and tell me that timer doesn't make a difference, its the devil, but fun.
If I remember correctly 3D Land used the timer in interesting ways too, especially when shadow mario was chasing you around.
