So 500,000 in sales should just about break them even and a million in sales would be a success.

There is something called a retailer you know.

More like 800k to break even, and in the first 6 - 12 weeks at that, before the price goes down.

On another note, MARKETING cost IS NOT PART OF A GAME/MOVIES BUDGET.

Marketing is a yearly expenditure that has a whole seperate budget on its own, whether its for a new game, piece of equipment or othe piece of software.

I've had this paid in full for quite some time. Heavy Rain was awesome.

Urgh I cant see them making much money off it. Hopefully it sells good.

Do we know if it includes building the engine?

Also impressions for the demo are glowing. I was left with the idea that the game would have issues ever since the E3 showing but it appears every previews since have been very positive.

Hence the multi million dollar budget ;p

The review from the two guys from IGN at the time was a sad day for journalism. I'm glad the game seems to redeem itself from that though.

Beyond, along with TLOU and BioShock Infinite will be tied for my personal GOTY I feel.

Won't make much profit.

I wouldn't be so sure. Never mind that this was your predicition for Heavy Rain as well!

I know, right.

It's like...it's almost like I just have to downplay some things the best I can, don't you think?
