Forums - Nintendo - Nfans: Do you feel betrayed now that MH is on Vita?

A real big positive surprise came yesterday to Vita fans. Monster Hunter is back to home. Yes.

The title Monster Hunter Frontier G, the game nobody expected, will be released during the next year for the PlayStation new portable. While there's not confirmation of being compatible with Vita TV (which looks like logical), the superior experience that Vita's OLED and the new shinny LCD model, added to the dual sticks, will attract the Monster Hunter crowd back to where it belongs.

Capcom is clearly targeting to make the best experience coming to the portable with those beautiful screens of the game coming to us, unlike the original PC release in 2007, re-release on 2010 for the Xbox360 or the earlier versions coming this year to PS3 and Wii U, when this new portable version get released during the next year.

Now all the eyes are above Nintendo. The japanese company, house of Mario and other minor games, made some arrangements with the household of the big japanese franchise to bring it exclusively to the Nintendo ecosystem. Of course, backstage. But, by the looks of this exciting announcement, the agreedment ended.

The franchise is now free to go to where it belongs, in the Sony ecosystem, where it borns and raises to the inimaginable heighs. Capcom cannot ignore the benefits of better hardware, aside of installbase numbers, and decided to offers to consumers better products instead of fooling them with gimped versions.

Since the announcement, Nintendo hasn't made any PR about it. Maybe in shock by the news or simply letting it go, as they knew since the backstage arrangements this will happen once those are over.

Now Nintendo fans, how do you feel about it? Is it right from Capcon to make Monster Hunter for Vita knowing your beloved company moneyhat for it? Could the exlcuisve agreedment ended? Will you buy now the superior version?

Is this a joke thread ?

This game will appear in as many platforms as possible. Every single release will get ported over and over in the right amount of time.

And the vita usually gets the worst version of multiplatform games, so I doubt many will care.

Was always going to happen, but i dont think anyone's worried about this shitty MMO.

Capcom dont need to worry about install base in Japan, people buy consoles to play monster hunter and they know it, they will be making deals on both sides with Nintendo and Sony.
